Many, many times Avery has preformed selected songs from Joseph and the Amazing Techno Colored Dream Coat. *sigh*

What Laura left out of her post is the list of other songs frequently sang around the house/car/place-of-business we happen to be in, thanks to a more frequent listening of 101.3 or 96.3 over the last few weeks:
Boom Boom Pow
I Gotta Feeling
Halo
Love Comes Around (or whatever that song is that mentions Michael & Joe Jackson)
Not sang: Love Game (that song is dirty and might make you a potty mouth)

Is it wrong that I share the same taste in music as your kids? I will have to give this some serious reconsideration.

Sara — yes. That too. Like a cold in a daycare center (I was going to say “like an STD,” but this IS a family blog), the Joseph soundtrack spread from your family to ours. *Sigh*
Jamarr — nothing wrong with your taste in music. All I’m advising is not belting it out while grocery shopping with a bunch of skinny-jean-and-flannel-wearing hipster music snobs. They’ll look at you funny.

Will definitely take into advisement.

So, you’re saying you live in the city and DON’T listen to The Current 24/7? Posers.

I’m lucky if I can ever get the radio away from the AM sports talk that Matt is obsessed with — once in a while I put on the Current only to have the kids immediately start clamoring for Battlefield. Or just singing it themselves if we can’t find it.

Oh man, AM sports talk! I don’t understand half of what Matt tweets. It’s like sports code.
We’re lucky, our nephew LOVES the Current. Constantly tells his mom he wants to listen to Crystal and Ryan’s music.

And the worst part: a few months back, we smugly made baby CDs for some friends and congratulated ourselves on the fact that our kids didn’t listen to much “kid music,” preferring our Current-esque taste with the occasional Beatles or Bob Marley mixed in. Apparently they are skipping right over kid music (except for the hideous Little Einsteins CD we got free somewhere) and moving straight into tween music. Siena even knows who Hannah Montana is, because Matt told her. STICK TO SPORTS, SMART GUY.
